What It Means To Be Born Again
Those of us who love Jesus as our beloved Elder Brother and believe with all our hearts and souls in his teachings as contained in the writings through Mr. James E. Padgett and Dr. Daniel G. Samuels, regard these revelations as our Bible because within them are the highest truths of God which teach us the true purpose of our creation and our lives on earth, as well as our true relationship to our Heavenly Father.
We need never again doubt the truth of Jesus' statement, “Except ye be born again, ye cannot enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.” The exact meaning of these words, which are not explained in the New Testament of the Bible, will no longer be a mystery to us, for through Jesus' teachings we know what it means to be born again, to become a new creature through our souls' possession of our Father's Divine Love, which flows into our hearts and souls when we yearn for it to become a very important part of us.
When we personally experience the soul transformation, which God's Divine Love causes within us, we are privileged to have firsthand experience of the Rebirth of soul as we become awakened to the Qualities of our Father's own Nature of Divinity and as our minds become aware of these Qualities and their greatness. At times it overwhelms us to realize that some of our Father's Divine Essence actually resides within our hearts and souls, because the perception of their grandeur leave us humbled and grateful in the knowledge that God has bestowed these Blessings of His Love upon us, with the Promise, always, of more to come.
It is the teachings of our beloved Elder Brother, Jesus of Nazareth, that bring the real truth of Salvation into our lives, and when we accept them and take them to heart, we need never again fear God or His supposed wrath or punishment, for His true nature is Divine Love; and we may come into personal knowledge and ownership of His Divine Goodness. Never again will we feel that we must be baptized or undergo certain religious procedures in order to be accepted by our Heavenly Father as His own children; nor will we feel the need to look upon Jesus as God, or as the Lord, or as a part of a supposed Godhead consisting of Father, Son and Holy Ghost. For God is Himself, alone, the Creator and Lord of the Universe. And we will know for a certainty that it is not Jesus' blood that saves us, or any belief in his name, or that he died on the cross to atone for the sins of mankind, but it is the Father's Divine Love that bestows the only true Salvation as it flows into our souls and frees us of our sins, and changes our souls from human souls into Divine souls, blessing us with Eternal Life.
Let us praise God that Jesus is our beloved Elder Brother, the child of our Father who was sent to earth to show mankind the Way to the Kingdom of Heaven, And that through Jesus all of us again have the privilege of praying and yearning for the inflowing of the Greatest Thing in all the Universe, the Divine Love of God, The Holy Father, which when possessed by our human souls, exalts us to At-onement with His qualities of Divinity and empowers us to perform the same Benevolent Acts of Healing and Restoration of Soul, Spirit and Body, that Jesus performed while on earth.
God is the same God today as He was when Jesus lived on earth; through the possession of His Love in our souls we can grow in Faith and Power and become living examples of His Love and Mercy just as Jesus personified during his public ministry on earth, and as his Apostles and Disciples exemplified after his departure from earth to the Realms of the Spirit World.

It Is The Divine Love That Fulfills
As a New Birth Christian, I feel deeply grateful for the Second Coming of Jesus of Nazareth in the twentieth century. Without the enlightenment which his true teachings have given me, only the Father knows how long I might have had to wait before learning that it is possible to become At-one with Him and to enjoy a home, one day, in His Celestial Heavens.
Each reading of even one or two messages in The True Spiritual Teachings that Jesus brought us it gives me the feeling that the words presented are the most important, the most meaningful words that I could possibly spend time with.
I feel so Blessed by our Father to have the privilege of learning these Truths. They become steadily more important to me as I get older, realizing how much I depend on the Father and look to Him for His Divine Guidance.
Several people have mentioned to me that they admire Jesus' way of disclosing the Father's Truths, and how his style of writing is unique. I'd like, here, to refer you to two wonderful messages by our Divine Elder Brother about the Father's Divine Love found in the books.
These messages are informal, and right away we pick up on the gentleness and softness of Jesus' soul nature, beginning with his reference to "My Father's love."
From him, I've learned the Father's true nature, and that when I receive the Father's own Love, He does, indeed, become a warm and personal Heavenly Father to me, whom I pray to with love and reverence because of His Holiness and Divine Goodness.
Jesus tells us that our Father's Love is the only thing in all the universe that can save mankind from our evil natures and make us at-one with Him; and that when people read his messages and try to understand the meaning of this Love, they will soon become more at peace with themselves and with God. And he lets us know that the Father's Love is working to help mankind, because it is the influence which makes men on earth think and do that which makes for peace and good will.
Doesn't this give us hope, for don't we all desire peace on earth between nation and nation, and the great healing power of brotherly love? How much to be desired that all mankind on earth could know the true nature of God and the meaning of His own Love!
The inner knowing that God is Love involves the heart and identifying with the Tender, Caring nature of our Loving Father, who has no malice or desire to punish His children, no hatred or jealousy or anger.
This inner knowing does bring us peace and a desire to blend forever with this beautiful Substance. And who among us hasn't wished that all of mankind could realize that they are children of a Loving Father, whose Love, Jesus tells us, is everywhere and all pervading, and may become our own cherished possession.
Our Divine elder brother assures us, once again, that the Father's Love, when it takes possession of us, has the power to purify and change our hearts, making us like the Father in Love and happiness and harmony. This, I have found, is an ongoing process--the new birth process that prepares our hearts and souls to receive our Father's Eternal Love.
How could anyone say No to a glorious fulfillment like this? For our encouragement and upliftment, Jesus wrote these words as a goal for us:
I will now tell you what this Divine Love means to everyone who has received it.
He is in a condition of perfect peace and his happiness is beyond all comparison, and he is not willing that anything or power shall lead him to those things that are not in accord with the Divine Love and God's laws of harmony. He is not only happy, but is away beyond the lower spirits in intellectual development and knowledge of the spiritual things of the Father. I know that no man is able to obtain the great soul perceptions until he has the soul development and is fitted to live in the Celestial Spheres, where only love and harmony exist.

God's Love In Our Souls Increases Faith And Gives New Strength
In 1962, I was a member of the Concord, CA. Study Group. We met to pray together and to worship our Heavenly Father, seeking His Love and blessings while learning His Divine Truths. I would like to quote a portion of a message which Jesus of Nazareth wrote through Dr. Samuels in April 1962, because what he said is true today-- we may all take his message to heart and rely upon his reassuring words:
“I am here JESUS:
“The first thought I wish to leave with you is to impress you, and all our Membership, wherever they may be found, that we are behind our Membership in all their cares and earthly afflictions and that we are praying and are actively seeking to bring about cease from mental, emotional and physical suffering.
I want Rowena (one of the members of our Concord Study Group) to know that we stand behind her, seeking to comfort her and to give her strength to undergo the experiences of this world which I, as son of man, did, in my way, experience as well on the cross; and we are working to see that these experiences of hers end finally on a note of physical healing and a strong and unflinching mental attitude, as well as knowledge that Rowena does not stand alone as a human being, but in receiving the solace and comfort and help of the entire Celestial Heavens, including Jesus.”
I knew Rowena and love her (and still do); and I would like to tell you her story. She began to pray for the Father’s Divine Love while in her late 30’s, and shortly after that she had to undergo several operations upon her physical body, over a period of just a few years. Vital organs had to be removed. But she continued her prayers for the Father’s Love, and as you have read above, she was reassured by Jesus through Dr. Samuels that she was being given the strength to face these operations.
Those of us who knew this wonderful soul came to rely upon her new, God-given faith and strength, because she inspired us through her wonderful courage and perceptions into our own soul natures to gain a new strength of our own through prayer for our Father’s Love.
With unusual enthusiasm and encouragement she imparted to us the understanding and wisdom which she had gained through her soul’s perceptions during what were to be the last years of her life on earth. I’m not trying to say that Ro became perfect, or a Divine Angel; but she became an unusually strong personality in her faith in the Father’s Powers of Divine Love.
If she had not suffered the severe granular chances which impaired the normal functioning of the organs of her physical body, she would have become a contact healer, for that was the greatest aspiration of her heart. She was so humble about her talents and abilities, however, that she was the last to acknowledge the healing qualities that her soul, in its strength of faith, bestowed upon us in the ways of encouraging, inspiring, consoling, spurring on, laying bare the truth, looking for causes and effects. One of her favorite expressions, when getting to the root of a problem, whether emotional, mental or physical, was: “I want reasons, not excuses.”
It was several years after her passing to the Spirit World that I realized Ro’s mortal life had actually been prolonged by at least two years, thanks to the healing ministrations of our Father’s Divine Angels upon her soul’s emotions and her spirit and physical bodies.
Ro’s life, which had become a loving and strong example of the Father’s power of life working through a mortal, had blessed us all.

All May Receive The Pentecostal Showering
We are exceedingly blessed to have The Prayer which Jesus, our spiritual, eternal Leader, delivered through Mr. James Padgett in 1916. Our Divine Elder Brother explained to Mr. Padgett and Dr. Stone who was also present that this prayer is the only one necessary for the inflowing of the Father's Divine Love; that all other forms of prayer are secondary, and of themselves will not tend to produce the Love of the Father in the souls of mankind.
Jesus frequently urges Mr. Padgett to commune and pray with faith to our Heavenly Father for the Love, so that his soul and mind and body would have the full benefit of Its benevolent powers and would undergo the transformation into the Father's Divinity. He frequently commented on Mr. Padgett's soul condition, crucial as it was to attaining the high quality of soul rapport that was necessary for the delivery of his formal messages of truths.
On one occasion, Jesus wrote these words of encouragement to Mr. Padgett: “Well, my brother, I am glad to tell you that your communion with the Father tonight has been responded to. His love has inflowed into your soul in great abundance. His Holy Spirit has been bringing the love in wonderful abundance and your soul is now filled with it, and the influence of this Great Love is working in your soul and you realize its presence.”
He continued (and what he says applies to all of us who know about the availability of this great Love): “If you will meditate and long for and pray to the Father as you have tonight, your soul will soon be so filled with this love that you will receive the knowledge, that you have a near at-onement with Him, and you will be conscious of the possession of a part of His Divinity, of which we have written you. The Pentecostal shower will come to you as it did to my Disciples in the days that followed my departing from them and I will be with you also just as I was with them, and power and Essence Divine will be bestowed upon you so that you will be able to display the marvelous presence of this love just as they were able. So you must pray and long, and your experience tonight has given you some foretaste of what will come to you.
There is nothing in all the world that can take the place of this Love in its power to draw you near to, and make you in at-onement with the Father. All beliefs and faiths in any and every other thing will not suffice. Sacrifice and sorrow on account of sin and vicarious sufferings and mediators, will not work the transformation, because it is solely a conjunction between this Divine Love and your soul, that is capable of bringing you into this relationship to the Father, and the resultant consciousness that you have partaken of and possess to some extent His divine nature in love.”
Mr. Padgett's wife and soulmate, Helen, also reminds us of our Heavenly Father's willingness to help us by letting us know that His listening ear is always open to our heartfelt pleas and longings for His Love. She wrote these words of advice to her husband.
“Be true to yourself, as I have told you, and you will soon be in God's love and favor. Do not let worries or disappointments keep you from seeking His love and believing that He is waiting to enfold you in His arms of mercy and love, for He is not only waiting but wants you to call on Him. Do not let the thought that He is afar up in the heavens cause you to think that He is not always near you anxiously waiting for your call.”
Helen's personal experience of receiving the Love and Blessings of our Father enabled her to assure her husband (and all who may read her words) of a warm and loving Heavenly Father who truly awaits every opportunity to help His children.

God Blessed Me To Be His Instrument
In the last days of my mother's life on earth, she was feverish, and in addition suffered from heart pains. My prayers went out to our Loving Father to relieve this fever and these pains. I was guided to take my Mother's hands in my own and hold them; it was then shown to me that the fever subsided, as Mother's cheeks became cool to the touch. I stayed by her side and I discovered that I could lay my hands anywhere on her body and the fever would subside.
When her heart became very painful for her, I was guided to put my hand on her chest over her heart, and press it firmly there. The pains subsided, and when she yawned, this indicated to me that she was free of the pain and had relaxed into drowsiness.
Thank you, Heavenly Fahter, that you enabled me to be an Insturment of Thy Love and Mercy!
My mother Nelle Murphy Harleston, passed to the Spirit World on November 20th, in her 82nd year of life. Please let me say Thank You, may God bless you, to those whose prayers went to our Heavenly Father on Mother's behalf, not only while she was on earth, but after her passing as well.
I love you, Mother, you are special to me and I pray that our Father in Heaven will bring you every Blessing of HIs Divine Love and keep you close to His Beautiful Heart of Love and Goodness, every moment of your new life. We will meet again, for the love in my heart will call to you, and I look forward to spending precious moments with you in the Spirit World from time to time. Until then, dear heart

Some Aspects Of Soul Development
Until our soul thoughts can come freely thru consciousness, we will be unaware of what is going on in our soul development. This situation will clear up after we have had a sufficient preparation of our minds and moral brains – that is, the removal of inhibitions within our minds that prevent soul thoughts from coming thru, and the preparation of our brains by the Divine energies to bring it into alignment with the soul's condition of love.
At first, soul development may require our soul's emotions be considerably strengthened in order for the soul to come into its own as the real and existing entity that our Father created it to be. So often we live from our minds only, and repress our emotions. Or, the pure and loving emotions of our souls become buried beneath superimposed emotions that are negative, such as feelings of resentment, hatred, selfishness, pride, vanity, jealousy, ect. These emotions may have to be removed, at least to some degree, so that our purer soul qualities can manifest.
Even though we may already be enjoying the happiness which pure emotions can give us, our soul nature may need opening up in other areas, such as our feelings of human rights. In this case, the Angels work to strengthen us in those areas so that in time we can manifest these positive emotions also and assert ourselves in upholding the principles we know to be righteous ones, which are in accord with the Ten Commandments.

Divine Angels Help Us With Our Soul Development
The Divine Angels who live in the Celestial Heavens of God's universe come to us the moment we turn our thoughts and longings to our Heavenly Father and begin to pray for the inflowing of His Divine Love. With souls that have been transformed into His very essence, the Angels minister to us and start our souls on their way to becoming restored to their original created condition, with transformation taking place little by little into At-onement with our Father's true Nature.
The Angels do not judge us or condemn us as unworthy of the Father's Love and Mercy, or of their own care and love, but, with souls alive in the Divinity of the Father they see our condition of heart and soul and set about to free us from any and all obstacles of inharmony that prevent us from receiving the Father's Divine Love. No matter how severe our negative soul condition may be, or how great the inharmony within our nature, the Divine Angels remain our true benefactors and friends, doing the Father's will to free us from our sins while loving us with a Love that is constant and true.
Through the Benevolent Power vested in their souls by the Heavenly Father, they can lead us through our soul development wisely and safely. And when we put our trust in the Heavenly Father and His Divine Love and Mercy, we receive in turn from Him no less than the Greatest Angelic Help in the Universe, sent by Him, in His Infinite Mercy, through our loving Elder Brothers and Sisters from His Kingdom.
This great love of the Angels, which they received from our Father and which most of them, with the exception of our beloved Elder Brother, Jesus of Nazareth, had to be opened up to in order to receive it themselves is freely given to us to guide us, to support our soul longings, to minister to our illnesses, to strengthen our true soul natures in the natural love and goodness, and to supply us with that Divine companionship that so lovingly enters into our everyday human lives with thoughtfulness, understanding, good humor and Divine forbearance, never judging, but always loving. They, too, were once mortals, and this great fact unites us, in that although they have been completely transformed in their soul natures by the Divine Essence of our Father, their prior earthly experiences of sin and soul inharmonies, and their expiations of the same sins and inharmonies after they began to receive the Father's Love into their souls, give them that understanding and greater compassion for us in our own expiations which we must undergo during soul regeneration.
As mortals with the deep desire to achieve At-onement with our Heavenly Father, and to experience the Greatness of the Essence of His Love, and yet with human failings that inspite of our best intentions and efforts to live as the loving beings He created us to be, we often experience the results of our negative feelings and thoughts and actions. These are the barriers to His Love that must be removed from our hearts and souls through the process of expiation; how very fortunate we are, that the Divine Angels come to us with hearts filled to overflowing with Compassion for our human weaknesses, and minister to the needs of our hearts and souls.
Their atmosphere of Love which they bring with them from their homes in the Celestial Kingdom surrounds us and may be felt by us in our hearts, as well as within and upon our physical bodies, as a radiant warmth which is unmistakable – entirely distinct from the natural love- and at times so great that we perspire freely. This Angelic radiance may be noticeable, too, in that there seems to be a living beauty in our surroundings in the very air we breathe, as though the atmosphere has come alive with an indescribable fullness as we become aware of their presence, perhaps unseen by our mortal eyes but pulsating with life and beauty. At times there may be a pinkish glow in the atmosphere around us due to their presence.
As we become increasingly aware of the feeling in our hearts which the radiance of the Divine Love gives us, both as we experience its inflowing in response to our soul longings and as the Divine Angels bestow their own radiance upon our hearts – the same in quality as the Father's radiant Divinity- we realize the Truth of Jesus' statement that the Divine Love of the Father is completely separate and apart from the human, natural love which He bestowed upon our souls at creation.
If we will allow our hearts to open to their Divine influences, we may be privileged to feel the Goodness, the Tenderness, Kindness, and Consolation, as well as the Joy and Happiness, of the Divine Nature of our Father as expressed through His Angels. These moments become treasures which are cherished by our hearts and souls, the Hope of the New Life which each of us may yearn for, and the glimpse of our Father's Promise of individual fulfillment, when we, too, have taken on a sufficient amount of His Divine Love.
If for some reason we find it difficult to bring the reality of the Angelic influences into our conscious awareness, this situation will change with continued prayer for the Father’s Love which assures us of the soul development that will enable us to relax into our Divinely developing souls, where the perceptions are opening up and are expanding to embrace the Truths of the Kingdom. When these Truths of Love begin to make themselves known to our consciousness, we will then recognize the influences of the Angels, with their persuasive ways of making each one of us feel like a child of the Father and a beloved member of His Divine family.
