Rev. Jocelyn Harleston, the daughter of Hugh and Nelle Harleston, was born in Mississippi on April 14, 1928. Her family moved to Houston, Texas during her school years. After graduation, Jocelyn relocated to San Francisco, California and worked at the Shell Oil Company as a stenographer.
It was at a library where Jocelyn found one of Dr. Leslie R. Stone's books Messages from Jesus and Celestials. She loved what she read, contacted him and learned about a group in Concord, California who were also followers of the messages. Subsequently, she joined them when they were holding at-home prayer services.
In 1962, Jesus appointed Jocelyn as a special worker for The Founders Mission.
When her father passed over in 1973, she moved back to Houston to take care of her invalid mother. After her mother's passing, she moved to Bladensburg, Maryland where she worked on the mission with Rev. John Paul Gibson.
She passed to the Spirit World on July 8, 2015.
